Coronavirus: Cristiano Ronaldo positive for Covid-19

Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, opposed this Wednesday (8:45 p.m.) to Sweden as part of the League of Nations, has tested positive for Covid-19. The Juventus striker is asymptomatic.

The Portuguese Federation explained this Tuesday afternoon why the training planned for the morning was delayed (it must start at 6 p.m.): Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of the Seleçao, has tested positive for Covid-19 but he is asymptomatic. All the other players in the selection are negative.

He left the gathering and was placed in quarantine. Recall that the Turinese had left Italy last week,  without the agreement of the Italian health authorities,  to join the national team. The European champions had already seen, before meeting the Blues  last Sunday (0-0),  José Fonte (Lille) then  Anthony Lopes  (Lyon) leave the city of football due to positive tests.

Portugal is opposed to Sweden  this Wednesday (8:45 p.m.)  in Lisbon as part of the League of Nations.
